Completed in 2009, this is the second cruise terminal in Southampton designed by the practice. It is one of very few entirely new terminals anywhere in the world designed to cater for new generation ships, which carry in excess of 4,000 passengers and a little less than 2,000 crew. Processing them and their baggage quickly and efficiently has been achieved in a striking building of such simplicity and clarity that very little way finding signage is needed.
