Requested by British Land to fully refurbish one of their largest out of town retails parks with the aim of bringing a quality high street feel to the site. The aim is to rejuvenate the basic car to shop-door format, with an expressive shopping park environment that would deliver lively consumer experiences. Works involved both full refurbishment of the existing retail terraces and the external car park areas. As part of the façade refurbishment, the external canopy colonnade across the park is being replaced with new full height structural glazing at 6m, significantly increasing tenant visibility whilst a new parapet detail will create fully flexible signage zones. Further works were completed in 2017, creating bespoke anchor stores for boots and JD's as well as a new management suite. Further master plan works are ongoing.
