A Grade II Georgian Listed building was renovated and extended. This project involved the sensitive restoration of listed features such as original brick floors, lath and plaster ceilings and walls, panel work and fenestration. The Victorian section of the house at the rear allowed more scope for re-modelling with a new kitchen, conservatory, underfloor heating, WC and loft conversion. Sustainable features such as high levels of insulation, lime renders and natural paints were used. The existing outbuildings were converted into guest accommodation and a gym with new timber frame extensions to house a swimming pool and garage. Lime mortars and reclaimed materials also featured here.
