This new building was designed and built to be a stunning family home nestled in the Devon countryside. The property lies on the site of an old goat shed, giving it its name.  As the property is situation in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it was designed to look right at home, whilst incorporating modern facilities and features, such as an air source heat pump and advanced heat-exchange unit. The house itself is part composite grey cladding and part Bradstone Southwold Stone which gives it an authentic and rustic appearance. The property is designed to maximise light, it creates a calm, peaceful place for a private life in the country. Little design features are dotted throughout the house, such as a handy laundry shute, or built in and concealed curtain pelmets, with high quality finishes and fittings throughout.  We used our 25 years of experience of creating beautiful, functional properties to make a truely fantastic home and the end result was a phenomenal success. The Goat Shed was selected as part of RIBA South West's annual residential Case Study.
