The expanding school is in need for two further classrooms and a nursery, whose current out of date building covers a rather generous tree lined site. The new building wraps around the mature trees to avoid any loss of greenery. The building is structured into two higher blocks and a lower entrance/corridor area, which will be in line of all entrance areas of the previous extensions and a direct connection across the buildings will be possible. The design, construction and material principles of the previous extensions have been repeated in order to avoid piecemeal development. A Ground Source Heat Pump in conjunction with photovoltaic cells will service the underfloor heating of the building.
