The redevelopment of a former Chicken Farm, comprising of a cluster of dilapidated agricultural buildings into a mixed residential and commercial scheme set within the Bossingham Conservation Area and Kent Downs AONB. The development is a collection of 3 and 4 bedroom dwellings, together with a separate timber framed workshop facility, which take inspiration from the local Kent farmstead vernaculars. The proposal is a sensitive solution to the need for smaller homes. Sustainability is a key aspect of the project with ground source heating and PV’s providing the main source of power and heating for all buildings.
