Unit G1 B2 Stamford Works , 3 Gillett Street , LONDON , N16 8JH
As a company we often facilitate educational workshops about the built environment with organisations such as Open House, The Campaign for Drawing, CABE, The London Festival of Architecture and a number of secondary schools. We enjoy getting non-professionals, especially young people, involved with debating the future of our built environment. We are regular facilitators on the 'My City Too' campaign with Open House which gives teenage youths a chance to explain their views about public spaces directly to legislators. Our work with The Campaign for Drawing and Secondary Schools such as Oaks Park High School in Redbridge, unlocks the artistic potential of children though imagining a fantastic future environment based on themes such as transportation or the Olympics. We also enjoy making real spaces, for example at the London Festival of Architecture in 2008 we allowed members of the public to make their own willow sculptures on the roof of our office in London Fields. We see this work as part of our wider educational remit as an architecture practice, aligned with our views on inclusive and consultative design for educational environments.
