Our Clients brief was to remodel and modernise this large six storey townhouse, to suit the demands of a modern family lifestyle, whilst respecting the period character of the building. They specifically wanted to extend the family living area at the rear of the house to create a large, open plan space. To enhance the use of the outdoor area, they required an elevated terrace leading-off the first floor formal lounge, supported by the ground floor extension below. Obtaining Planning Permission for the additions was challenging but ultimately proved successful.
