A private estate just outside London consisting of Grade II Listed Georgian buildings of the main house, walled gardens, stables and outbuildings, with maze, lake and 15 acres of land. We were asked to update the dilapidated buildings, adapt them to the needs of a modern family life while preserving and restoring historic architectural features. Where possible we created open plan interiors, with new extensions blending with the existing building (palm house, office studio, etc.). An overhaul of period interior features, revised plumbing and electrical services, new kitchen, bathrooms and other amenities complete a comprehensive update of this important building.
