Major extension and refurbishment to a large Edwardian detached villa in the Arts and Crafts style within South Hale Conservation Area. The existing house was refurbished and a new entrance porch and hallway opened out onto the grand timber stair. The Kitchen and Family Dining Area was extended with a Conservatory. A large two storey extension to the north of the house contains garaging for 3 cars and a large Family Lounge with an open aspect onto large south facing gardens on the ground floor and a Cinema Lounge/Games Room at First Floor level. The existing roof and extension were finished in Rosemary clay tiles to match originals and new period oak windows, screens and French doors replaced existing throughout. The external walls were rendered and the original balcony from the Master Bedroom was reinstated and new railings replicated to match originals. Photographs by TADW
