Sited in the Dartmoor Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, our proposal uses local materials and building techniques to create a highly sustainable and contextual home. The house is proposed to be constructed from all natural materials including timber, stone (both ubiquitous in the local vernacular architecture) straw, and lime, and looks out across a picturesque wooded valley.
