New Build
Subcontracted to project engineer, Parsons Brinkerhoff, Studiodare Architects was lead architect on the Feasibility Study that looked at the viability of an extension of Northern line to Battersea Power Station. The project sponsor was Treasury Holdings UK Ltd, then site owner of Battersea Power Station. The catalyst for the project was the requirement for major new transport infrastructure capable of serving the intensification of Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea (VNEB); specifically, the Raphael Vinoly Architects’ masterplan at Battersea Power Station. Studiodare’s scope included identification of suitable station positions on proposed route options; station design and sub-surface interchange with the existing Victoria line at Vauxhall; midline ventilations shafts site identification and design; coordination with other disciplines; stakeholder workshops; presentation drawings; architectural report for Feasibility Study
