This is a lovely red brick Victorian terrace house, in Henley on Thames, which was in need of refurbishment and modernisation. The clients wanted to improve the layout of the ground floor, create a new open plan kitchen and dining room and create space for an all important ‘dog shower’. Studio Wolsey designed a new side extension to connect the existing kitchen and dining room. This allowed us to rearrange the internal layout, creating space for a utility room, study area and pantry, as well as a large kitchen / diner. We also designed a glazed dormer window to create a window seat and open up the existing rear extension to the garden.
