The five-story and five-bedroom Victorian terraced house was completely redesigned to meet the clients’ requirements and the needs of the more modern lifestyle we live today. A two-story rear extension with a patio on the lower ground floor provides a better connection with the garden. On the ground floor, the kitchen area extends out onto a terrace, above the garden. A skylight, apart from being a feature, provides additional light to the kitchen. A difference of levels between the kitchen ceiling and the terrace above has been used for sunken planters creating a garden in front of the master bathroom on the first floor. Wood was widely used for the interior and the house benefits from the AV system throughout.
