A glass extension and internal redesign of a garden apartment. The internal redesign of this apartment and the design of the new glass extension were informed by the existing structure of the rear area and its orientation towards the garden. The living and cooking areas are combined into one space and are now directly connected with the entrance. The glass extension becomes part of this space, opening it towards the garden and at the same time drawing the garden inside. A glass strip in the roof accentuates the longitudinality of the space and provides additional light to the original structure.
