Studio Ulanowski was appointed by the Clients to fully redesign their mews house behind the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington. The house hadn't been altered for 30 years and was in need of modernising. We looked at a number of options to rearrange the layout, however the Client to decided to only make a few minor amendments to the layout and to focus the budget on a high quality of finish. This included three new bathrooms, a new kitchen, new wiring and plumbing, new windows, and new finishes throughout. We worked with the Clients preferred builder who knew the existing building. This allowed us to keep to a tight programme to complete the works.
