Design considerations throughout the process have been focused on creating high quality living facilities, which are also sustainable for the future. From material choices to interior finishes Hox Park offers spaces that are cooler in the summer months, warm in winter months, and naturally ventilated. The accommodation offers mature, sophisticated and durable living environment. All rooms are spacious, bright, and naturally well lit from the generous floor-to-ceiling windows. 200 studio rooms have fully functioning kitchenettes, equipped with a ceramic hob, combi oven and fridge/freezer and a breakfast bar, while 299 en-suite bedrooms are orientated in clusters of four to eight rooms around a communal kitchen, dining and living space. Designed to make students feel at home, the interiors have been decorated to a high quality finish offering students a luxury, up-market and contemporary private studio or shared accommodation; all rooms feature a comfortable double bed, ample storage space including a built-in double wardrobe, a desk for studying and an en-suite with walk-in shower and WC. All students are welcome to live and study in Hox Park, consideration have been made to ensure the scheme is accessible for wheelchair users; a series of spacious ambulant studio flats are situated on the group floor, all with level thresholds throughout.
