Studio Manifest delivered full architectural design and management for 'Inside-Out House', transforming a Victorian terrace in Brockley, Lewisham, South London. The project features a contemporary single-storey rear extension and ground-floor reconfiguration, turning a dark layout into a light-filled, open-plan kitchen and dining home. By converting an unused side garden into a central courtyard light-well, we maximised natural light alongside integrated joinery and mid-century aesthetic details. Applying a fabric-first approach with high-performance glazing and upgraded insulation, this South London house extension modernises energy efficiency while future-proofing the home for family life.
