This project is near the site of the former Teddington Studios which began its operations in the early 20th century. The crafted residential extension celebrates the unique film and cinematic history of this south-west London area, with the house transformed into the stage upon which the family’s lives will play out. Each space provides a backdrop for a different scene in which the intertwined narratives of each actor are told. Spaces flow uninterrupted from one to the other, framing views and drawing the 'viewers' attention to specific moments, playing the role of the camera in the studio.
