Studio J Architects were asked to design a mixed use development in a prime location within central Ackworth. A 140m2 stand alone retail unit fronted the main road with a row of 5 x 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom houses to the rear of the site. The buildings are constructed using high quality, locally sourced, natural stone to the external walls and feature solar panels on the roofs. Studio J took the project from initial feasibility studies, through planning and building regulations approval, before overseeing construction.
