This coastal village in the East Neuk of Fife is home to our client’s grade ‘B’ Listed cottage which backs directly onto the beach. We undertook the complete re-modelling of the cottage opening it up to the horizon and adding a frameless glass conservatory and attic room with roof terrace to take advantage of the sea view. In this way the materials consciously change from thick and solid at the front through to thin and transparent at the rear.
