This playful extension and refurbishment of a ground floor flat in Streatham, South London, creates a space for a young couple to live and entertain, reflecting their distinct individuality. Externally the extension is wrapped in green glazed bricks and brushed charred larch. A convivial dining table is lit by a large area of glazing, creating changing patterns of light and shade. Renewable energy was a key part of the brief and the project features renewable PV slates on the roof. We provided a full design service and remained involved from start to completion on site.
