A mews house in Notting Hill was transformed to create a light and open space for family living, with a sense of calm and quiet despite its central location. Studio Act worked from concept to completion to redesign the entire property including the private courtyard. The central stairwell enclosure was replaced by slatted Oak partitions which brought warmth and light into the space, allowing the plan to be more open; while renovations elsewhere brought the home up to date and reflected the client’s needs.
