The clients, for whom we refurbished their family house in Notting Hill appointed us to take care of the restoration and fit out of their new seaside house in Norfolk. The property, facing the marshes in Brancaster Staithe, comprises a small cottage and a big barn set in a beautiful South facing garden. Both buildings are built in the traditional style with flint walls, timber roof structure and pan tiles roof and had not been touched till the 70's. We are redesigning the spaces to provide holiday's accomodation for the family and their guests. The works included the full restoration of the buildings' fabric, installation of new glazed roofs and fenestration, interior layouts and interior design and landscaping plus new renewable energy heating system (bore holes ground source pump), flood mitigation systems and full insulation of the building.
