K-House uses a single volume constructed optimising an insulated timber frame construction to house three interconnected spaces over two-and-half levels. At the ground floor a new reception space containing a shower room, kitchen and utility expand the existing living accommodation into the garden. An additional double height volume contains a bedroom, mezzanine and private study. The existing stair and windows were also replaced to create a better use of space and improve energy performance respectively.
