Hidden House is located behind frontage properties, on the southern fringe of the City. The design extends and remodels an existing 1970's bungalow to form a sustainable family home, ready for our low carbon future. The layout is focussed around the existing main living spaces to form an enlarged kitchen/dining, separate studio annex above an existing garage, two further bedrooms and a shared bathroom. Each of the main living spaces are separated by private courtyards, that provide daylight and summer cooling, while also forming a strong visual connection between the spaces and outside.
