This development will provide much needed community and business facilities within the centre of Ivybridge. The design has been developed in close liaison with a community steering group organised to represent the different stakeholders. The scheme includes Information facilities to the ground floor with tourist information, a new county library, an independent IT suite and coffee shop. Social facilities to the first floor providing a multi-purpose hall with retractable seating and projection facilities for cinema/theatre/conferences, with supporting bar/lounge and kitchen available for private function. Business facilities on the upper floor with offices, meeting rooms, 16 small business start-up units and staff facilities. The design features an atrium to assist in daylighting parts of this deep plan building which will also provide a social/exhibition space.
