This project is the redevelopment of a brownfield site to develop a significant visitors centre with clamping units, wardens accommodation and car park to support the North York Moors Railway and Pickering town. This project is extremely complex due to its location and has involved the organisation of several consultants and careful advice to the client. The scheme is at the foot of a hill on the top of which sits Pickering Castle. Therefore we have taken considerable care in the design of a sensitive scheme that has been supported by the conservation officer and English Heritage. This is a very sensitive site and an update to this information will be provided following determination of the Planning Application.
