Phase I of the conversion of this huge range of Grade2* Listed Barns into a private residence for a private client. The scheme involved the partial deconstruction and wholesale restoration of this sensitive structure. Working in close conjuntion with the LPA and Conservation Officers to find a practical solution to complex design problems prevailing. This scheme was amongst the most challenging of over seventy Barn Conversions the Practice has undertaken over the last fifteen years. As can be readily appreciated from the before/after photographs, a huge amount of sensitive reconstruction and adaptation of the existing structures was involved to secure what is now one of the finest barn-conversion private residences in the Country.
