Stephen Taylor Architects are one of several practices contributing to the regeneration of the Cadix harbour district to the north of Antwerp city centre. After developing a masterplan in collaboration with a Dutch architecture practice, we subsequently delivered a total of three new buildings on opposite corners of an urban block, which were completed in 2017. The project delivers 55 dwellings, split between social rent and affordable sale. It also incorporates a parking garage, a 1500sqm neighbourhood crèche and two landscaped communal courtyards for a Flemish social housing provider.
