Stephen George & Partners has been working together with their client Henry Davidson Developments Ltd to bring forward the mixed-use village centre at Lawley in Telford. This scheme lies at the heart of a major urban expansion which provides a new community with some 3,000 new homes and new schools. The mixed-use centre includes a supermarket, further retail, offices, public house, restaurants, nursery and a care home. Sitting on a site of approximately one acre, an extra care development of some 60 units is also part of the proposal. This element has been brought forward with Sanctuary Housing working together with The HCA and Telford and Wrekin Council. The proposal is for a mixed-use scheme with the extra care common parts and retail accommodation at the ground floor with the residential accommodation arranged above.
