The project was won in a competitive Tender as part of Transport for London's Small Sites scheme. The challenge of the site is its shape and location; a long strip of land leftover from the widening of the North Circular Road in Enfield which removed a row of houses at the time. The remaining space has to contend with the aspect, noise and pollution of the North Circular Road and does so by developing a series of 54 residential units, stacking in an interlocking typology with external patios and terraces, ensuring that each of the dwellings is at least dual aspect and each with a front door accessed from a rear landscaped pedestrian realm, re-wilding the secluded route, in order that the North Circular Road is not the only option either in terms of vantage or use. The project is presently undergoing Pre-Application discussions with London Borough of Enfield with a Planning Application expected in 2022.
