THREE NEW BUILD HOUSES ON A BACKLAND SITE IN HAMPSTEAD London needs new homes. Two very large houses (which have been converted into flats over the years) have very long gardens, which back onto a narrow lane. Square Feet Architects have managed to gain permission for three houses on this backland site, working closely with Camden’s Planners though pre-applications and design review panels. The houses dance between the existing mature landscape in the back gardens, with sustainable and contextual design.
