We were approached to redevelop a site formerly occupied by a small bungalow in Bushey, Hertsmere. Reinterpreting the Victorian terrace, the design maximised the value of the site and delivered 3 new houses. An offset open staircase with motorised rooflights ensures that all the spaces are adequately ventilated during the summer. Solar water panels on the roof provide most of the hot water demand and a fully integrated, on-site rain water harvester contributes to cold water supply.
