Snell David were approached by the owners of this beachside house in Devon. Their intention was the remodel and extend the house, generally bring it up-to-date. It was clear from the onset that any alterations would have to make the most of the spectacular setting as well as complimenting and enhancing its Art Deco character. The additional top floor, set back from the existing curve of the building, forms a spacious master suite. The curved rear extension provides another bedroom and bathroom. The curved design reflects the style of the house and allows for a covered entryway. The renovation ensures the most is made of the spectacular setting and provides suitable amenities, such as a surf room, for making the most of the seaside lifestyle.
