The owners of this property in central London approached Snell David to remodel their existing house to create an impressive family home which would utilise the potential for subterranean space. The project involved the re-design of the primary areas creating extensive living spaces. Further living spaces were created by a new rear elevation which is characterised with glass Crittal style openings set against London stock brick. The project also involved the construction of a single storey basement for further family spaces. The main staircase was remodelled to create a beautiful walnut handrail set against oak, iron and limestone with double height windows providing impressive vistas across the landscaped gardens.
