Alteration to existing property, Within a Conservation Area

In 2019 we were asked to develop designs for the renovation of a 19th century house in the Sneyd Park Conservation Area in Bristol. Works included the strip-out and modernisation of the interior, a new dining room extension, reconfiguration of the ground floor to create an open plan kitchen and snug, and replanning of first floor to incorporate ensuites and integrated storage. A new, exquisitely crafted bespoke oak stair and screen was installed to the stairwell, improving privacy from the street. Our scope included preparation and management of the planning application process, architectural, interior and landscape design, contract administration and post occupancy evaluation.
