This 27m2 Modern Extension creates a new open plan Kitchen-Dining-Living Space that resolves around the inside-outside connection and relation to the natural materials. The design uses vertical proportions to create a sense of height in a low-ceiling space. The timber Grade A Larch facade creates a sense of belonging to the surrounding natural environment as well as is cohesive with the neighbourhood that showcases wooden features. The house focused on creating a healthy and sustainable lifestyle by introducing a heat recovery ventilation system, well-insulated walls and triple glazed windows.
