CONVERSION OF VACANT FARMSTEAD BUILDINGS TO ESTATE OFFICE, INTERN ACCOMMODATION WITH NEW AGRICULTURAL SHEDS FOR STORAGE Located in the Green Belt, the proposals involve conversion and extension of former farmhouse to offices and residential intern accommodation, together with use of new and existing agricultural sheds for secure storage and maintenance. Proposals were developed in close collaboration with client, following feasibility study and appraisal of different layout options. Concept stage included exploration of off-grid solutions and pre-fabrication. Early engagement with planning authority was critical to garner support and to establish the case for development within the green belt, and following a successful application the project progressed to the construction stage and is now complete.
