An 18th-century Cotswold farmhouse set within a historic rural estate. Our work her involved the complete refurbishment of the main hosue and intergration of the adjoining large barn. The architectural approach focused on repairing and consolidating the original fabric while refining spatial arrangement, light and proportion to support contemporary living. Historic detailing was carefully retained and complemented by restrained new interventions, ensuring continuity between past and present. The project balances heritage sensitivity with quiet modernity, resulting in a calm, robust and enduring country house rooted firmly in its landscape.
