Prominently positioned on one of Bath’s hillside roads, this early 19th-century coach house was fully renovated and converted into distinctive holiday accommodation. The project reveals and celebrates the building’s original working use and structural elements, while introducing living spaces with a character that deliberately avoids conventional domesticity. Careful consideration was given to light, access, and spatial hierarchy, allowing the former life of the building to remain clearly legible. The result is a characterful and carefully crafted conversion rooted firmly in its historic context.
