Silwood Street, Southwark, London Simon designed this new housing estate of 78 new homes whilst at PRP architects, creating a series of differently coloured buildings arranged around a landscaped community garden. The new homes replaces a single linear 1960's block. The differently coloured bricks in each unit gives each building entrance an identifiable address, and mixes the "for sale" private and affordable homes without compromising building quality or identity. The smaller three-bedroom townhouses are intended to be the smaller siblings of the same family
