We were appointed to design a new home in a picturesque rural setting with privacy, green belt and trees to consider. Working with the constraints, to guide the design, we have utilised a contemporary upside down configuration incorporating a roof terrace to maximise the surrounding views. Natural daylight floods the living areas through the use of roof lights positioned to ensure the property does not encroach on the neighbours privacy. This layout also allows for the garage to be integrated within the ground floor footprint, to house the owners car collection.
