Sicolo Webb Architects have been appointed to design 6 new affordable homes on a rural site in the Exmoor National Park. This project, for Parracombe Community Trust and South Devon Rural Housing Association, will provide new affordable homes for the local community and will help ensure the long term sustainability of this rural Exmoor village. The homes are set around a shared arrival courtyard and arranged in two barn like forms. We are exploring the use of two complementary material languages to reflect the diverse range of local materials found in the area.
