The second phase of a major new science complex at the University of Manchester. The practice, which designed the masterplan for the 35,000m sq m site, has already received planning permission for the first phase of six potential phases. When completed, the Biomedical Campus at the University of Manchester will feature undergraduate teaching facilities and advanced research facilities for biological scientists, pharmacists and medical researchers. It will also include the Wellcome Clinical Research Facility, an international postgraduate lecture and conference facility and the Manchester Biotech Incubator and Core Technology Facility.
