Birley is the final piece of Manchester Metropolitan University’s incredible ten-year estate masterplan that has seen an investment of £360m in the University estate and £139m investment in Hulme. The new highly sustainable Brooks building brings together the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Health , Psychology & Social Care from two completely remote campuses into new shared facilities providing modern and supportive teaching and learning accommodation for 6,500 staff and students and offering wider local access to training, education and employment.
