care village - one of the liverpool housing action trust’s final projects is a care village occupied by long term tenants from ashgrange in knotty ash. shedkm’s international competition winning solution (1st phase completed 2003), combines an internal street with generous apartments on two levels. an orange drum contains community facilities and links the scheme to two refurbished tower blocks. the design has been widely published and critically complimented .
