Shape Architecture had already completed EcoShed 001 for the Hammersmith and Community Gardens Association and was asked to design a second EcoShed in the more prominent site of Godolphin Park. As architects for this project we worked very closely with the Client group and it was decided that the same recycled sustainable approach should be explored and developed. The key feature of EcoShed 002 is its rubble roof, which used the excavated brickwork on the site to minimise waste and created a roof that over time will become green as birds drop seeds over it.
