Located just across Hyde Park Corner, this two-bedroom apartment sits within a Grade II listed property in the London Borough of Westminster. Tasked with bringing the space up to modern standards, we worked closely with our client—an interior designer—which made for a particularly fun and collaborative project. The original layout was unconventional, with dark, disconnected spaces. To enhance the flow and maximise natural light, we removed partitions and introduced a new open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. To further optimise space, we incorporated pocket doors, allowing for flexible room division while maintaining a seamless aesthetic. This transformation created a brighter, more cohesive home while respecting the heritage of the listed building. Bespoke joinery was integrated throughout, adding both functionality and refinement to the interiors. By carefully balancing heritage constraints with contemporary living needs, we delivered a sophisticated yet inviting home tailored to our client’s vision.
