Oaklands Manor was built in 1844 in typical late Georgian style and is set in 19 acres of grounds on the fringe of Leeds in West Yorkshire. The house is Grade II Listed and retains many original features. After a change in ownership from a family home in the 1970s, Oaklands Manor was used as offices by a number of different companies. An extensive renovation and refurbishment programme commenced in 2007, designed to restore the building to its former glory as a family home. The ground floor consists of a drawing room, dining room, a snug with a mezzanine for a play room, library, study, TV room, large contemporary breakfast kitchen, swimming pool, gym and changing facilities, garages and a boot room. On the first floor there are 5 bedrooms all with ensuite and a laundry room. The master bedroom includes a morning room and a dressing room. Over the old coach house there is a two bedroom flat. On the second floor there is a final bedroom in the roof space with a gallery looking out over the countryside. The basement consists of a cinema, party room, bar, snooker room and wine cellar plus plenty of storage space. Integrated audio visual, lighting and security controls throughout the house, together with creative lighting systems combine a traditional Georgian renovation with contemporary style.
